This story is part of the Apple Event , our full coverage of the latest news from Apple headquarters. There weren’t too many surprises at the April 2021 Apple Event . The company was expected to strip the wraps off new iPad Pro models , new M1 iMacs, Direct Mail Marketing For Personal Injury and its rumored AirTags accessory. We got all of that along with an updated 4K Apple TV that had been rumored since February . Oh, and let’s not forget that the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Mini are now available in purple .
But what didn’t Apple announce? Here’s a list of products we’ve been waiting for, including (it’s true) some that are more hearsay from rumors than imminent or expected releases. Still, while we didn’t think most of them would debut at Apple’s Spring Loaded Event , we might see a few as early as June 7 ( including iOS 15 ), when Apple hosts its virtual World Developer Conference . Rumors that Apple was preparing to launch third-generation AirPods have been circulating for the past few months, and there is talk of possible delays delaying its launch until the third quarter of 2021 – speculation that seems more on the mark now .
Often referred to as AirPods 3, its design, based on possible leaked photos, can share a lot with the AirPods Pro but will not feature noise-isolating ear cushions (and may not offer active noise cancellation). Currently, the M1-equipped MacBook Pro is only available in a 13-inch model and doesn’t perform cpa email list much better than the M1 MacBook Air (which is certainly quite the speed demon). Those hoping for the 16-inch MacBook Pro to be updated with the M1 chip, along with a rumored 14-inch Pro model, will have to keep waiting. Again, these kinds of developer laptops would be welcomed with open arms at June’s WWDC, but Apple may be waiting for an even better chip (M2? M1X?) To power them.
